Elizabeth's husband, John Michael Joyce, got his start in the photography business when the two were just dating. He would help out by assisting with portraits at EIB Photography Ltd.'s studio and lugging heavy equipment around for Elizabeth. Though the initial appeal may have only been for John to be close to his 'true love', he quickly developed an earnest interest in the business and in learning the trade. As John trained with the equipment, they discovered that he had a great "eye" for capturing beautiful artistic shots. Elizabeth often picks his photographs among her favorites. John began working as an assistant wedding photographer in 2005.
